Day 1: Sacred Valley to Santa Maria (Biking and Rafting)

Embark on an exhilarating journey from Cusco to the heart of the Andes. Begin your day with a delicious breakfast buffet in the stunning Sacred Valley. Ascend to the breathtaking Abra Málaga Pass, where you'll receive a safety briefing before embarking on an epic 3-hour bike descent. Soar through snow-capped mountains and the mysterious cloud forest, taking in panoramic views of the Andean landscape. We'll make short stops along the way to ensure your bike and equipment are in top condition. Arrive in the charming town of Santa Maria, nestled amidst the Andean peaks. Enjoy a well-deserved lunch before embarking on an optional white-water rafting adventure. Optional White-Water Rafting: Experience the thrill of conquering Class III and IV+ rapids on the Vilcanota River. This exhilarating activity is available from April to December. All necessary safety gear, including helmets, windbreakers, and category V life jackets, will be provided.

Day 2: Santa Maria to Santa Teresa (Trekking and Hot Springs)

After a nourishing breakfast, embark on a scenic trek to Santa Teresa. Ascend gradually through lush landscapes, pausing to admire the diverse flora and fauna and learn about local customs and traditions from a traditional family. The trail takes you through a captivating section of the ancient Inca Trail, offering breathtaking views of the Huancarccasa Canyon and the majestic Salkantay Mountain. Descend to the charming village of Quellomayo for a delicious lunch and a relaxing break on hammocks. Conclude the day with a rejuvenating soak in the healing thermal baths of Cocalmayo. Transfer to Santa Teresa, where you'll spend the night in comfortable accommodations.

Day 3: Santa Teresa to Hidroelectrica to Aguas Calientes (Zipline and Train)

Optional: Embark on a thrilling 2-hour zipline adventure through the lush canopy of the Andean rainforest. Fuel up with a hearty breakfast before boarding your transport to the hydroelectric station, the gateway to the iconic Machu Picchu National Park. Hike to the enchanting town of Aguas Calientes, passing the intriguing Intihuatana archaeological site. Enjoy a delicious lunch at the Inka Rakay viewpoint, where you'll be treated to breathtaking panoramic views of the Machu Picchu mountains, Huayna Picchu, and other ancient ruins perched on the mountainside. Arrive in Aguas Calientes, your base for exploring the wonders of Machu Picchu.

Day 4: Aguas Calientes to Machu Picchu and back to Cusco (Trekking and Guided Tour)

Rise early to witness the breathtaking sunrise cast its golden glow over the ancient Inca citadel of Machu Picchu. Hike or take the bus up to the citadel for a captivating 2-hour guided tour, exploring iconic temples like the Temple of the Sun and the Temple of the Three Windows. As the day draws to a close, bid farewell to Machu Picchu and return to Cusco by train, carrying with you the indelible memories of this extraordinary experience.
